Are you in the Bristol area? Fancy doing a five-minute reading before a friendly audience?
We’re putting on an Open Mic session on Monday April 20th at 7.30pm in the Shakespeare Tavern on Prince Street, Bristol. Readings will be five minutes long and you can read anything you like, flash, WIPs, extracts from short stories, poetry, whatever! No need to sign up in advance, just turn up with something to read and we’ll fit in as many of you as we can.
If you haven’t been to a Fringe event and you’re wondering what you might be letting yourself in for, it’s all very friendly and informal, and a great way to get through those first-reading nerves! We welcome published authors and people who are yet to be published on an equal basis.
You can sign up on the BristolCon Fringe Facebook page or just come along – it would be really nice to see lots of you there!
