YA author Emma Maree has very kindly written a review of “The Art Of Forgetting : Rider” which she has posted on her blog for you to read.
She says :
“It’s a bold, diverse read, with LGBTQ characters and a bisexual protagonist, that really makes it stand out from the crowd. We need more diverse epic fantasy out there in the world, and THE ART OF FORGETTING delivers that in spades.”
I was battling with the dreaded black dog a bit this morning, but this has turned my frown around. And Rider is only £3.88 on Kindle in the UK at time of writing, so if this review makes you think “I want a bit of that….” then follow this link to Amazon to grab a copy.
Meanwhile the launch plotting for Spark and Carousel continues apace – there has been mention of cake. And lasers… And cakes with lasers…
Thank you Joanne for your book, I am glad to be a Winner!, ‘The Art of Forgetting – Rider. Although I am not a fan of LGBTQ literature, I am a fan of Fantasy. Currently reading Game of Thrones – Clash of Kings. I will put your book into the queue? If I find it fascinating, I will offer a review, although I am old, and male, and heterosexual. I have had many friends over the years who were gay, and I always found them genuine and loving people. Except the two who tried to hit on me when I was a teenager. LOL
Hello Ed!
I hope you enjoy the book, I’m glad it arrived safely. It’s not quite as bloody as Game of Thrones! If you want to review it that would be lovely, but you’re under no obligation 🙂 Some of my old male heterosexual friends have liked it, so fingers crossed you will too 😉
Lots of love,
Jo
