Those folks at Kristell Ink have sure been busy this January, with not one but THREE cover reveals and a publication schedule that goes right up to next December.
I’m delighted to be able to announce that The Summer Goddess is pencilled in for the Fourth Quarter, so you can hopefully expect to see that out in the wild in November or December 2016. The cover art will be by Jason Deem (part of the prize for winning Grimdark Magazine’s Battle-Off) – I have seen some preliminary sketches and it’s going to look amazing.
Talking of covers, feast your eyes over this little lot…
First up is C.N Lesley’s Serpent of the Shangrove, the sequel to Darkspire Reaches.

Given one chance to find the fate of a crèche mate, Copper grasps the challenge to save her and to prove himself worthy to the other Drakkens, who look down on him as a half-breed, despite his full array of magic abilities. The other world is not as he expected and the races living there don’t seem to have honor. Then he finds the Serpent, a creature of pure evil. Who will live? Who will die? One of them will not walk away.
Next we have Joel Cornah’s second full length novel, The Sky-Slayer. This is the follow up to The Sea-Stone Sword, and it promises to feature more piracy, more pterosaurs and more Pengs!

All who kill a pterosaur are cursed. Rob Sardan went further – he killed their King. To break the curse he must escape a prison of ice and crystal, south of south. With a ragtag team of former pirates, a failed thief and a strategist who cannot be trusted, they seek a ship that can sail on a sea of fire. They must cross the grinding ice, challenge an empire, and face the Crown of Black Glass.
‘Glory is like a circle in the water which never ceaseth to enlarge itself, till, by broad spreading, it disperse to naught’.
And last but by no means least we have our lovely Sammy HK Smith, with a novella, Twisted, which looks like it’s going to be an awful lot of fun.

Isabella Gens Julia – Bella or Bells to her friends (and Izzy to Wyll) – is half mortal, half Lars, and much to her dismay that makes her a dens daimones, commonly known as a tooth fairy. When Nyx holds the fairies hostage at the Winter Ball and starts killing them one by one,Izzy steps up. Well, Izzy and a group of questionable ‘soldiers’ – including Loki, Queen Gwendolen, Atalanta and her Wyll. You’d recognise him by the name of Merlin …
Looking forward to reading all of these – don’t they look fab?
