Good news, everyone!

The Split Worlds series, by the lovely Emma Newman, has had a makeover and is getting a snazzy new re-release in e-book format today from Diversion Books, with the paperbacks and a fourth volume to follow later in the year.

We’re very fond of Emma here on Making Things Up For A Living, where we’ve already reviewed Between Two Thorns, Any other Name and All is Fair (please be aware all reviews may contain mild spoilers). The new covers are lovely, and I’m really looking forward to the next book, which will be titled A Little Knowledge.

Emma was also interviewed by Fantasy Faction yesterday, where she talks about how the Split Worlds was born and its strange journey to publication, her “agile coding” approach to her characters, feminism, and the tea-drinking habits of the Newman household.

Today FF have a review of all three Split World books and a giveaway to win an ebook of Between Two Thorns, so hop over there and enter it!

And in yet more Newman news, Peter Newman’s The Vagrant has just come out in paperback and you can read my review of it here.

Congrats Pete and Emma!
